Where are you based? I pretty much expect them to put 6 readys on my line, doesn't matter if I bid to fly or not. One thing is for sure, I ain't doin' those damn 3 a.m. readies anymore!

My sources are telling me Delta could announce a merging partner as early as this Friday. I listened in on the conference call (sitting ready reserve--what is one to do?) and it didn't reveal much other than int'l is doing really well and they will continue to expand in that area as we already know. Someone did ask about Comair and they gave the same reply, saying a decision on Comair would wait until the details of any merger are worked out (if at all). They did go on to say something along the lines of "Comair will be an integral part of their long-term success," though. FWIW.....
