I have the same reasons as everybody else here but I'm not gonna say why cuz somebody will be smart about it.
I know the Wendy's is hiring by me. Maybe I should fill out an application. Its not a bad deal getting to be home every night and close to the same pay.

Mmmm, Wendy's just bought 2 new Citation X's, plus I think a Falcon 2000. That'd be nice. I remember pulling into the airport and seeing Dave Thomas's Bentley parked behind the hangar. RIP

I wasn't going to be smart about it I'm just curious if you either got the bottom of the barrel at JFK and just sit ready all month or if this airline/aviation stuff is not something you expected. Commuting is a bummer and it definitely sucks commuting to JFK and I can definitely feel your pain on the first year FO pay. Sometime I think the headshed at the G.O should go live in JFK on F.O. pay alone and see what living in NYC under a bridge in a refrigerator box is really like in January.
