Actually if you read about the FA base announcement on epic it say that there is going to be an increase in block hours in CVG.

Does anyone know why we are not able to look at open time? I did not see open time on Epic for the past week or so at JFK. Are they hiding it from us or is it just not available because the planner are becoming so efficient?

Who Knows what they think but a RR is still worth 4 hours, now what pilot out there wouldn't go in for 6 hours just to get paid for 4. Let me think humm.............everyone hired at Comair since 1977???

Sorry if I've come across as negative. I'm about as positive of a person as there is. I hope I am wrong and the CVG block hours increase like they should around this time of year!

Regarding the Open Time, Blue Moon's explanation seems the most logical. It wasn't too long ago scheduling would actually hide open time under "DUMMY" Captains and FOs. I think the union got word of it and put a stop to that, though. Enjoy the weekend everyone.
