ya every trip pairing i had Toronto. I did more Canada then anything. Loads were always full or close to full. I guess Air Canada wants a piece of the pie in these troubling times in a more comfortable airplane.

The news article said the flights will be operated by Air Canada Jazz, which I'm guessing CRJ, doubt they'll fly the Dash 8. Heck, even DAY has had service to YYZ for a while by Air Georgian flying BE-1900s.

There is no future at Comair, if you are waiting for recall rumors, growth rumors, upgrade rumors, or any positive news rumors; it’s not gona happen any time soon. For you who qualify, Emirates is hiring:

First Officers - (4000TT, 2000ME Jet))

I've had a resume on file there for over a year and not got a call. Also, it doesn't really help anyone who is furloughed, since the site states "must be current in last 12 months" (I would think they mean in a jet, not a Cessna). If you were furloughed, and are jet current, that means you found something better than Comair...and better than living in the Middle East.

What makes a Jazz CRJ more comfortable than a Comair CRJ?

Bring on the Jet Blue and Southwest service (at CVG). I'd love to see them come in to the land of Delta!

I missed the air Jazz part thought it was air canada oh well. 50 seater is a 50 seater. And for comair and growth Obama thinks that we will be recalled this year.

I will be waiting for the Obama recall letter. The Obama checks are about to run out in a few weeks

I don't think Emirates is an option for us furloughed guys, but it might be a good option for downgraded captains or captains that have been on reserve at Comair for the past few years not making any money. Plus you never know, you might get a call tomorrow.
