Got that package today, well at least it arrived. I am out of town until 4/19. I had someone read it over and it says that you have to go for a drug test by next Friday. Also says May 2 is the day you will be considered an active employee. Had some forms for insurance and stuff (like a new hire package). Now, the tricky part will be, how can I get the form for the drug test, which is 1200 miles from me, and get the drug test by Friday, if I am working until Friday and will not be around?? Thanks for the 5 working day notice Comair.

Haven't people been saying it's been time to shut Comair down for about 10 years now? That's all General Lee has said in 14000 posts on "that other site" CVG is the new PIT (soon to be followed by MEM as far as the passenger side goes)

I'm thinking he meant this thread, but I could be mistaken.
Oh Spoilers.. you are such a negative Nancy! Every time someone has an interesting rumor or a funny picture - to take our mind off of things... you ALWAYS have to be the one to really bring the house down. So why don't you get off of your high horse and grab yourself a nice cup of Skyline Chili!! .... Tim might like one too..

Hang on, more negativity coming up...
Nothing better than starting off the week with a nice e-mail from the MEC containing sentences like...
"This last week has been an utter disaster for the operation as management personnel and crew scheduling have continually, intentionally and willfully violated our Collective Bargaining Agreement"
"In fact, we are so understaffed that not only is management attempting to force pilots to fly illegal assignments, but they have also been turning down additional flying opportunities from Delta because we are unable to staff the flying that we have now."
"Your MEC has learned that management and scheduling are already looking at the possibility of junior manning pilots into Tuesday, April 13th due to our critical staffing levels"

My question to the MEC is what are you going to do about it? Are you going to bypass the chain of command and talk to JB? Or are they going to RA? Like Tink said More action and less talk.
That should be our rally cry.
