No leads for me. Looks like 26 years at Comair is going to end in an early retirement at age 60. No desire to start at the bottom anymore.

Some day when your airline goes under, I hope others have as much compassion for their fellow pilots as you do.

Actually, there is nothing ridiculous about the length of this thread. It's actually a testimony to all that was done by the good folks at Comair over the years. A little respect is in order, I believe.

Comair folks, thank you for everything you did to raise the bar! You are all class acts!

Well looks like TexASS Governor Rick Perry wants to comment.

If there are still any 08 furloughs lurking around here did you all loose access to Travelnet?

Default Estimate

By my estimate nearly 60% of pilots from a shut down airline do not return to flying. It blows for sure to see an airline close its doors. The fallout for most is catastrophic.

I feel for you Comair guys. Welcome to the ranks of the displaced worker. It is not easy starting over but can lead you into a better situation.

Nope, still have access. It wants me to pay the annual fee but it still shows my pass riders and myself as being active. FYI, I took a buyout.
