Then ill just slide it all the way back to get it out of the way, but come night time you have a huge black area by the window. So if you try to swing it up, it just falls down and hits you in the head. Why cant we just put a small piece of velcro on the visor and another piece over our heads? That way we can just swing it up and stick it to the ceiling.
Your not supposed to remove them from the tracks, there are some rubber pieces that are in the grip that help it grip the track better. Unfortunately, when people take the visor off the tracks (every airplanes, except some of the new ones), they sometimes/eventually fall out. That is why you can't swing it up.

I know, I didn't either till a couple months ago when I flew one of the new 76 seat planes...the visor will stay in any position you wanted it to. Most people just put the visor in with the briefing cards and load manifests or crank it up against the CB panel (which sucks in my opinion).

People who wedge it back there, then flip it up so you can't even get your fingers behind to unscrew it, should be taken out back and beaten with multiple hoses.

Default CVG Car Rental bus gets airborne

Just found this interesting video from one of the CVG car rental busses. I'm willing to bet that this bus was big and yellow with black. Seems that she wanted to launch herself into the APD.

That's awesome! I wonder how she lost control like that, didnt seem to hit anything or slide... I guess it was a controlled crash... On another note...some guy commenting on the video on that site stole my avatar...

alirght....

What is up with this pos software? right now it's only showing one person on the 70/90 call out for tomorrow and my July schedule says I'm in training.

I don't know if any of the IT folks read this forum but if you do, why didn't you guys do a better job rolling this out to the pilots?

Since I can't see anyone else's schedule (Privacy laws my foot)... has any JFK FO gotten a schedule change in the SAW yet? I don't know if mine has been denied or they never got to it. They certainly aren't the friendliest of people if you call and ask so I'm trying to put that off.
