I'm thinking about getting out of the airlines now all together again, go back to flying charter or corporate. I don't think anything will improve, especially with furloughs around the corner, displacements, flight hour cutbacks. We'll actually end up moving back on the seniority list and QOL will continue to get worse.

The net conference is next Monday if that is what you are referring to.

Well..the SAW did just end yesterday. They just gave all the left over trips form the SAW to reserve pilots. I'm sure trips will pop up in open time as the month goes on.

I have been checking open time in the 70 for the entire month and haven't seen a drop outside of the saw. Am I just not seeing it, or is it just not happening?

Planning controls the Open Time window. It is usually not visible. Right now, it is pretty hard to get EF on the 70/90. I've tried the last few days and nothing.

I just applied for a Tower Coordinator position, now I can take your guys' fuel burn and tell you to taxi in the wrong direction, while making more money than you guys and being home every night.

Can anyone tell me how often they process add, partial drop or mutual swap stuff after the SAW? Is it a once a day thing at a certain time, or just when they get around to it, ops permitting? I submitted a mutual swap recently and no change to sked, but also not posted on the ADT disapproved list either.

I cannot seem to find in the contract or anywhere on EPIC that would offer answers. Another question, would they approve a SAW swap of a 4-day for a 3-day? Is it based only on min/max line values or day-for-day only, i.e. 4-day for a 4-day only? Where can I find this kind of info?

Thanks in advance

Don't quote me on this, but I think it is twice a day. I want to say around noon and 5 p.m.!? Call Planning and they should be able to help you out.
