I still wouldn't be surprised if CA is moved to that holding group though. Or liquidated

There is no way that Comair and Mesaba or Compass will merge... it'd be impossible to whipsaw us that way.
Anyone else find the last statement in the F/A CVL (Voluntary Leave) posting on epic? It reads:
"It is strongly advised that FAs on CVL stay aware of what is happening at the company."

Okay lets break this down further. There will be no mergers between Comair, Compass and Mesaba.
seamless integration (Keyword) after the merger closes across all of the following areas: fleet, ground/ACS stations(Compass and Mesaba fleet and stations to DCI), IT, supply chain, facilityand maintenance operations, HR, and others.( All these functions will be performed by the holding company)
Each airlines will have their own maintenance dept, but the managerial aspect will be controlled and centralized at the holding company. The main HR, IT, and so on will be at the holding company. So all three w/o regionals will operates on the same syatems and programs like I've been telling you guys. The only way it affects the other DCI carriers is to streamline the DCI product

sounds to me like after the merger the companies will be very integrated with separate pilots and maintenance. If this is the case and any one of the FA, Mech., or pilot unions feel like it they could probably ask the courts to force a merger under a single carrier petition. Netjets pilots did this with Netjets international because management and scheduling and such were the same but the pilots were different. Netjets pilots won and soon will be entitled to Netjets international slots.
