I hope they add NWA regionals to travelnet. The current nonrev system for XJ is the phone based system and it sucks. Thanks for the response. Hopefully we can all survive this new delta.

I heard that there is suppossed to be an updgrade to Travelnet next month, so I'm guessing all the NWA, Mesaba, and Compass employees will be added and have access to the site. This is going to be an interesting period for nonrevving, till everything is done integrating. The Delta system for nonrevving is pretty simple and strait forward for DL and w/o's, plus you don't have to pay for first class.

C'mon Andy, that was a little preachy, don't ya think? We're on the same side here.
As everyone being furloughed does, I do read ALPA correspondence, but the insurance issue has never been addressed. Also, they may have asked us to report flight benefit problems, but the clear answer has NOT been provided from the company. Are we going to be regular S3 though 11/30 as the contract states, or are we going to be S3B from 11/5 on, as I've heard happened to 10/5 guys.
I can, however, quote ALPA ad nauseum regarding ASAP and min line value. Yes, those are important issues. Right now different issues are important to different parts of the pilot groiup. Furloughess just happen to have lower priority issues. Even ALPA National has not mentioned Comair furloughs in any of its messages.
I cannot find the ALPA email that details where I should send my health insurance premium to ensure that it is properly credited. I need to make sure that my wife and children don't lose health benefits. Maybe you can forward the email that addresses how to cover insurance premiums between furlough and 12/31.
I know the company doesn't give a crap. That is crystal clear. What about ALPA?

Half of my friends in aviation went to ERAU and they're always the first ones to call themselves dorks. It was in jest and not serious.
People that know me will tell you that I'm the first one to self deprecate. Sorry if I offended you.
I know a bunch of us are getting f'd here next week and things are a little tense, but I don't think anyone here wants to disparage one another purposely.

Maybe this is just wishful thinking on my part..but if Mesaba and Compass have a flow through agreement with NWA, now Delta, does that mean that Comair with get a flowthrough agreement since we're also wholly owned?

I have asked the same thing. The answer is no. It has to be negotiated between the MECs. Our top guys here at comair would never go for it because of the threat of flowbacks. (They would be protected if they negotiated it the same way as Mesaba's) As we all know the Delta guys(especially the junior ones) hate comair and would **** a brick if Comair guys were getting jobs with interviews.

What did everyone do, or is planning to do, with regards to turning in OPS/STANDZ manuals and badges? If I get in to late or can get released early from my late reserve window I am coming home. I don't particularity care to spend the night in the crew lounge just so I can see a Chief in the morning. Any ideas or experiences?
