Yeah who really know's, everyone I have talked to said they are going to or have voted it down one guy actualy showed me his email recepit showing "disagree". Time will tell. Personaly I would have been happy with 25 cents increase per-deim, 4% cola each year, match asa's new rates, and get rid of the boh. Thats all. Good on ya for voting no, it will be interesting to see what happens if it does not pass.

As of our last email we just got, 2220 pilots have voted (78%). Pretty good turn out for vote so far. It ends tomorrow at 8pm MST and hopefully we will know soon how this is all going to turn out!

My predictions. Skyw pilots will vote down the pay proposal 65% to 35%. Skyw will come back to the table to re-negotiate. They will drag out the new proposal negotiations for a year or longer then present a new proposal with a slight increase over the previous one. The increase in the new proposal will be the cash they saved over the year or whatever time they dragged negotiations out. Thus giving us the same (pay-proposal) a year or so from now. Sure would have been nice to have a union.

Then what are they going to do about first year pay? They need this increase in order to start filling classes. Will they just increase it with out compensation everyone else? If so then I guarantee their costs will go up and I’m sure many including myself will do our parts to assist these increases!

No, they'll come back to the table ASAP so that a pay proposal can be passed which alows for an increase in first year pay.

Good point on the first year pay, but I think if it is that important to them they will just lower minimums or just say they are temporarily increasing 1st year pay until the new proposal is negotiated. I’m not trying to be a pessimist here but, I just don’t see them giving us money that easy since we have no leverage. I think the length of new negotiations will be determined in part by the percentage of us who voted "disagree".

By a large margin. I thought it would be closer than that.
