Default AirWis mins

I am interested in Air wisconsin becasue I live in Philly and they have a base at PHL. Can anyone help me with the following questions :

1) as a new hire, what are the odds of getting PHL as a base ?
2) I have 650 TT and 250 ME. Can I get considered ? or should I investigate a bridge program ?
3) if I should look at a bridge program, which ones ?

Thanks !

About six months ago I sent them my resume with 500/125 and they called me within about a week. As it turned out I was not able to interview at the time because I had other stuff going on. I don't know how it has changed.

Last time I talked to them they wanted me to send my resume in and not care about the hours.

1) All of the new hires will be going to either LGA or RDU. You will probably get PHL eventually, but it's hard to say how long- it might be awhile.
Sorry, can't help you with 2) and 3).

Your time is probably competitive. If you want PHL you'll probably get it soon, especially if you bid reserve, which is not bad if you live in domicile.

AWAC is opening RDU and LGA. They are likely to be junior, but frankly, nobody knows how it'll pan out. As always, the opening of domiciles creates interesting situations. There are more people than I would have thought who are going to bid LGA.

I think if you want PHL you'll get it.

DCA is pretty senior, but that doesn't mean you can't get it. Fact is that for new-hire pilots they are pretty much the same.

Lately unfortunately there haven't been too many vacancy notices and that's the only way to move around from base to base.

That said, I would expect that if someone gets hired they ought to be able to get their choice of domiciles within 6 months, max.
