Let me start by pointing out that if you want to get a feeling for how industry pilots will act, Airline Pilot Forums is not a good place to do so. This is a board populated mostly by has-beens, wanna-bes, and morons.
Now, on to the actual question. Until Teamsters Local 747, on behalf of the pilots of Republic Airways Holdings, authorizes and initiates a strike, I will continue to fly my schedule as published. Since I do not work for United, it would be a physical impossibility for me to fly struck work until the previously mentioned scenario comes to pass.

I'm actually part of a fourth group that I failed to mention: people who are merely counting down the time until they get permanently banned for insulting those who **** them off.
EDIT: Apparently I can't use the vernacular for "taking a leak." If this is the final nail in my APF coffin, I'm going to be very upset.

Our contract becomes amendable 12/09, so if a strike were to take place, it wouldn't be until sometime in 2010, after all the squares were filled.
For now, I'm just trying to get a feel for where things stand. I'd sure like to see this profession head in a better direction.

9e flights were shut down, not so much as to not fly "struck work" but because like 85-90 % of 9e passengers connected to NWA flights out of MEM. So if 9e continued to fly it would have just built up a log jam of passengers at the mem airport with nowhere to go. When it looked like Mesaba might strike a few years back, and I also think with the Comair strike, we were given an ALPA phone number to call to make sure the flights we were flying were not struck work. If the guy on the other end on the phone said it was a Mesaba/comair flight, our plane didnt move...

I would hope that our union would provide some clear guidance as to what we could do and not do as well as spell out to the company what they will expect form us.

Actually I would probably do everything in my power to not fly. You see I was once on the receiving end of the reverse....so let me pose the same question back to you... would you as a mainline UAL pilot continue to fly if I a RAH pilot flying UAX routes struck?...... I doubt many would even give it a thought. A few perhaps... but not many.
