Do new hires at least get badges for non rev travel during indoc or do you have to wait out your entire training delay with no badge/KCM?

No badges are given out at indoc. You can however come back a few weeks after indoc and pick up your kcm and employee badge when they are available.

Does anyone have the current total number of pilots at Piedmont and their current or projected rate of hiring?

Page back a bit to answer your questions. Classes will be full for probably 24 months or until another regional can offer more to new hire. Total pilots will be over 600 when April ground starts. Flow will be at 5/mo in May. Pdt will contiune hire to a grand to staff 145s into 2018 then the pieces will move again. (Airframes) either 60 145s or 20 175s and 40 145s by 2020 imo

Apart from being smaller, does the 140 spell "bad news" over getting a 145-only jet fleet?
