May 10th is live day on the simulator. Second simulator is still under the "bidding" process. Id estimate that one 12 months or so out.

So I have a class date and I'm excited about jumping over, however I do have a concern and it's probably me just overthinking but:
Will the upgrade times change once all the new hires from Dec-May upgrade? When I interviewed there was about 10 of us, every single one of us was CA qualified making a lateral move. Who is going to sit in the right seat?
AA says you can have 2 per month as long as you can staff it, but I'm afraid there may just not be enough new pilots entering the industry to support it, even with all the stuff American is offering.
So if hiring slows and the deliveries slow down, the music pretty much stops...Just trying to figure out when that's going to happen.

Yes, I'm sure the upgrade time will start to get longer, eventually. Look at PSA, they went from street captains to a 2-3 year upgrade in a short amount of time. As of now, that is not the case here.

The only issue right now, not upgrading any current 145 FO's. Most if not all are being bypassed, using only dash transfers. That will have to change soon, so remember that for planning. I'd plan on being an FO for a little bit if your going into the 145.
