Another daOldMan post throwing garbage in all directions, plainly in the face of facts. Look at the awards, where guys continue to get upgrade straight out of new hire SOE.

You are a dumpster fire of an account my friend

Besides being kind of dilusional would you explain how that could happen with the three WOs?

I think as we move down the road this will probably happen. Instead of metering the flow when the pilot shortage gets deeper I wouldn't be surprised if our WO's are given a Seniority number. That way if they hold you at the WO's you'll still be gaining seniority while being withheld. They hold you for 6 months but you won't care because by the time you go to class you'll have 250 pilots below you already. This would also help lock in many of the instructors to keep that turnover low.

I think getting a seniority number like that would only really happen if Delta and United started to aggressively poach pilots from the WOs.

Default Flow

Friend hired at Piedmont in summer of 2015, says he should flow in another year, is he accurate or just overly optimistic? Thought your flow was around 5 years? Hope he is right!

No, that doesn't sound right. Probably somewhere between another 2 to 4 years depending on how the future unfolds.

He is a bit optimistic. He is in a good spot however. If we go to 5 a month in May and 6 a month by year end, as planned he would be end of '18 or early '19. I'm an '11 hire and looking at early to mid next year. He could slide up a couple months if we can manage to get to 7 per month, which is 850 pilots...you never know 😋

Default Crew bases and Seniority

What is the likely hood of a new hire junior fo getting KSBY as a crew Base? Are most new hires getting KPHY? What is the average seniority to get KSBY?
Thanks in advance for your response!
