Hey guys, making this similar post as in Envoy's forum. Can anyone give me an idea of schedules over at KPHL? Are they all 4/3-4/4 or can one pick up 2-3day trips there? I was hoping for variety of trips so that I can be gone for less time at one given time. Deciding between Piedmont and Envoy and live 40 minutes away from KLGA and 1.5 hrs from KPHL. Both offers in hand.

Much Thanks!

Congratulations on both offers, and doing your homework before jumping head first into this career. I cannot speak for eagle, but pdt has lots of 2/3 trips in Philly and many commutable. Start mid day end before 9am last day. But, that drive would personally make me want to jump off the G Gangplank... so I would go to the New York base. Envoy does not have min day pay. A while ago, a friend was doing 9-11 hour paying 4 days. Maybe it's changed? Pdt is caught up w training. Expect less than 2 weeks off from ground to sim. Probably same on 145 at envoy. Pdt's schedules were/are rough but we will be taking 3 jets a month and only way to go is up. Envoy will shrink w airframes and pilots. Movement up the list will happen much quicker at Pdt.

Lots of commutable 4 days in PHL (late start early finish). Expect to only get 11 days off a month and work the first few days of every month for the foreseeable future.

I would take phl drive over the drive to lga. If your coming from north nj which i think you. It's ez to make phl. And traffic is less.. the flight from ewr can be reliable as well out the train..

Thanks for the info guys, hoping the best for him and all of you, you deserve it!

I think it all depends on what happens as far as attrition.. if legacies and cargo open up hiring as much as expected, than things are going to get cray cray.

Training is still pretty long Im not going to give you false hope on that. That said, I would choose PHL at PDT any day, and I know both companies pretty well 😉

Any updates on the bid? What is the DOH on the most junior E145 CA?

as it's been said there is no wait to upgrade here. #512 of 594 has completed ca training. Im not sure who is jr in school right now. If we don't keep getting guys w prior 121 time street CA are possible if Pdt takes 3 jets a month. Not sure if we stopped at 20 jets to catch up and get ppl line qualifyed prior to the busy months. or if the repo pilots still flying to the eastern shore.
