Just came back from recurrent. Johnny B said that things don't look good for the other 7 Dashes. It sure would be nice if PDT offered early outs. There's probably around 60 Capts that would take it, including most of MDT. That would save a whole lot more money than furloughing a bunch of 1st year F/Os making min guarantee. I heard that the union grievance concerning the retirement is being heard. Anyone have any news on that?

the is unbelievable, I know they held on as long as they could but we are looking at a 20% reduction in the fleet if this happens.

Probably see a furlough of around fifty now with about 25 downgrades if they follow the initial pattern talked about with the first four.

You really think that few? It may not sound pretty, but 20% of the active 458 comes out to 92. And we're already fat to begin with.

A lot will hinge on the possibility of early retirements. And there are other things in the works that could leave us critically shorthanded if they furlough the full 92.
