You can make a check airmen in a week if you really needed too.

Not necessarily, I feel like some of his smaller predictions are true, but I think he really tells some tall tales on other things. The whole "only path to AA" idea was bogus from the start IMO. I do think he had the pulse of a older plan that has since been scrapped. PDT may actually become what they wanted to do with Envoy, who knows.

Well, the program already exists in the 190 at Airways.

I'm sure it'd be mostly a cut and paste. In theory this would speed up the process.

Compass got into a lottttt of trouble for that and were close to losing their program. 2016 seems legit for getting something up and running with time to spare

It most likely would need full MEC support. At Envoy we have seen TA's with MEC support that ratified. What has not passed had no MEC support. AAG will need that MEC out there selling the TA to get it to pass. I would be giving your current MEC an earful about any deal containing concessions.

it would also help if the pdt mec lied to the pilots about the ta just as the previous mec at eagle/envoy had done numerous times. that is what has changed at eagle/envoy, the current mec does not do what the previous mec did, which was lie and sell out the pilots.

Agreed. Anybody with critical thinking skills could read the TA and see through union rhetoric though. Once an MEC fully invests themselves in backing a TA it is an uphill battle to vote it down.

What did they get in trouble for?

Why would the Feds care if you use a carbon copy of a proven safe training program developed at a legacy airline?

MSP FSDO cared. Find a cpz instructor or pilot that was there 4-5yrs ago and ask.

I do agree with you, if the program is proven why should it matter.
