Are there any provisions for dropping trips either for extra time off or for trying to pick up OT?

You can forget the idea of soft dropping trip here at pdt. As far as picking up ot goes, you just can't call in sick that month if you're picking up any premium time, otherwise that premium trip will be just regular pay.

I see, that's too bad. Is that lack of ability to drop trips a product of the need to increase staffing?

Hopefully when GB and SF leave things improve in scheduling but time will tell.

How does everyone at Piedmont feel about Dash FOs with 1000 121 hours and 2500TT (and only previous CFI experience) upgrading directly into the left seat of the E145?
