I started helping out the FAs that I like and also so that I don't have to wait 30 minutes to go home... after the last leg all you want to do is run home, you know? It's not like I'm getting paid after we block in. So anyway, I started noticing that the FA started getting slower.. and slower. Like, I'd take out the trash and ice and dump the hot jugs and mind you this is AFTER I've done my own walk-around... and she's JUST starting to clean the seat pockets. One night she actually told me after I did the walkaround, "The hot jugs have water in them." (meaning that I should dump them.) I had no problem helping them out before without ever being asked, but after she said it like it was my JOB I was so turned off. This is what happens when you help them out too much.. they EXPECT it of you. Now I tell myself that I'm not going to help that thankless youknowwhat, but every night I find myself standing around waiting for her slowa$$ to finish her job I just get so exasperated that I end up helping her do her job.
Just leave her with the plane and say "Here are the battery switches, don't forget to turn them off when you're finished, goodnight, see you tomorrow..........!"

And they work harder.

Is it really that big of a deal to cross the belts if you have time? I do it and it has really paid off for me. Full body naked rub down at the hotels. Sitting on my lap when the CA goes to the LAV...topless. The CA that is.
I totally agree that FAs sometimes work hard and get treated like crap. That does NOT give them license to pass it on. We should treat them with respect and help them out. But if they are rude and disrespectful, they need to be reminded of proper roles.

As for the IDIOT that put EYE DROPS in a pilot's drink - they clearly have mental problems and should be removed from duty. It is STUPID to incapacitate a PILOT. I hope you will have the guts to report that person.

You are right. I just never had a rude-to-me FA. I suppose that if I did I would not help them...or ask for a drink.

"If you assume they always spit in your drink, then it is not that bad."

It would be immensely tougher if I were 5" shorter and 40 pounds lighter. We've got some FAs that could probably hang from the door handle without the door budging.
There are no 95lb FA's where I work. Most of them weigh significantly more than I do.
