I have read several posts where people are saying that RAH took MidW flying. My understanding is that RAH invested 20 or 30 million to keep them afloat. So did they take 1/4 of their flying or did they save 3/4 of their jobs? I personally think RAH saved them, albeit for the time being, from all being on the street.

I thinks it's more like taking 3/4 of their jobs, then 2 years later taking the remaining 1/4 of them.

They wouldn't exist right now if it weren't for the millions invested by RAH.

And just how do you intend to prove that? No one has.

You don't get it. The pilots are being replaced and their mainline airplanes, who cares if a company that shouldn't be surviving, is? I'm sure the Midwest pilots would feel some more dignity if the company shuts down rather than replace them and their airplanes with RAH.

There's no flying to accept. It's grounds for termination to simply not fly it if ordered to.

That was just 16% of what was thrown at Midwest last year, and that saved them?

As usual a post that doesn't mean much. All talk and no action about what? Me saying I don't approve of how disrespectful someone is? What do you want me to do fly over there and leave a flaming bag on his doorstep?

So are you saying if you had a choice you wouldn't be accepting a job at RAH because they fly for Midwest and that they replace furloughed midwest guys and fly mainline airplanes as well while their at it? But since it looks like a case of the chicken before the egg, your hands are tied. The fact of the matter is you guys will be even bidding for it, we'll see how junior the flying goes. Now your management even fixed the pay issue for you guys by making it below 99 seats, HOW CONVENIENT FOR YOU!!! 66 717s VS 95 seat E190s. Somebody said something about throwing up.....

What Management does to save their company isn't either pilot groups fault. I seriously doubt that the 3/4 of the pilot group left would rather be on the street than have some of their flying out sourced by mgmt.
