That's the amount of persons in your base. I think that include guys that are in IOE or after done with their checkride.

It doesn't show people on IOE.. IOE pilots aren't qualified for any bid status until it's complete.. just shows people who are currently qualified in that bid status.

It isn't all that accurate though, they don't always update it because some of those people are out on medical/military LOA's . I find in ORD its always about 10 people off if you look at the 3XP, but it gives you a rough idea. ALPA has an interactive seniority list thats pretty cool but it isn't ever up to date either.

Your best bet is to get a hold of a 3XP for the base you are interested in.. then you can see exactly what you can/can't hold.

What exactly are you not understanding?

It just shows current status/next status and expected dates of training/transfer.. not much to it really.

There is also a key at the bottom..

If you are looking to base trade to LFE for example you can look at the flow plan and count how many people are transferring out/in and upgrading along with the expected class/transfer dates to get an idea of where you will be at. Or if you are awarded a new status you can see the expected dates and who else will be in your class. One thing that is kind of annoying is its all out of order.. so you pretty much have to go through the whole thing if you are trying to do any math with it.

236 what? on the 3U or 236 down on the 3XP? Currently the 3U is showing 294 EMJ FO's in ORD.. but like I said before it isn't 100% accurate. I've always been slightly more senior than what the 3U said.

3XP just shows monthly bid results (bid lines awarded from the bid packet). It is showing 280 people bid for July. People that finished up IOE after the 20th of June won't be on that list because they weren't qualified to bid yet, also people during late June/July are base transferring in/out or went to upgrade class so that will also skew the number a bit for August.. But It's a good place to see what people senior to you are bidding (which is really the ONLY thing that matters). You can see who the junior weekend off holder is/ or junior line holder/ or see if the 2 day trips you wanted went senior or junior, or how many guys ahead of you until you hold a line for example..

3BR shows everyone in base including captains, along with the bid line and projected monthly hours.

The closest way to getting an exact # of where you are is using the 3XP and the Flow Plan and figuring it out if you want to go through all the effort.

That is what I didnt understand.. I wasnt sure if there were groupings or whatnot. I saw the key at the bottom but there are several things on there that I cant decipher and arent in the legend at the bottom....

if you tell me what it is you don't know I can probably tell you the answer.

They are somewhat in groupings by bid award dates, but not all of them.. there is random stuff here and there

Trying to update my logbook, but not sure of the code to pull everything up. HI3 only shows the flight numbers and times but not tail numbers. Thanks for the help.

7V/Emp#/30/DATE

That will show you how much you have flown each day 30 days prior to the date you put in. I don't think there is any way to find tail num you have flown.

I use the monthly activity sheets under the pay tab in Jetnet for updating logbooks, it can go back 3 years. It has every flight # you did along with the times.

Don't worry about tail numbers.. Just use flight #'s if you want.. Most people at the airlines don't log each individual flight anyway.
