You can do an "NS/flight number/DDMMM" for each flight. That will give you the first three tail numbers. It's a pain in the ass but it works. I don't know of an easier way to get tail numbers.

I just write the tail numbers on a hard copy of the HI3 I'm currently flying and enter them at the end of the sequence.

I'm not sure keeping a record of the tail numbers is necessary but I do it in case there is any question about it.

I use the monthly activity sheets under the pay tab in Jetnet for updating logbooks, it can go back 3 years. It has every flight # you did along with the times.

Don't worry about tail numbers.. Just use flight #'s if you want.. Most people at the airlines don't log each individual flight anyway.
Worst advice i have ever seen on apc. Seriously? If you do this, good luck proving to the faa and the your examiner that you qualify for an atp certificate when it is time to upgrade. Refer to part 61 for proper logging of time for a qualification or rating. 2nd of all have fun in any future interview explaining yourself.

I log every leg. But that is my preference. Yeah I have a lot of log books, but it's accurate.
