On jetcareers, someone said that all hiring is on freeze. Is there anyone in "the know" that can confirm it?

Quit with all the fear mongering people. For all we know they could contract out the rampers and mx, and cancel pensions and that's it. They could shut the doors at eagle. No one knows, but there is no point in spreading doom and gloom until the letters are in the mail.

The point is that no one knows what's gonna happen and there are loads of opinions out there. All we can do is ride it out & hope for the best but get some lube and prepare for the worst.

Contract/sabre question
I had a line in November that ended yesterday. For December I'm on reserve and with the carry in trip I'm below my 11 days off. Can I get a day back? If so what is the Sabre entry?

Most of our newly upgraded captains are going back to the right seat and most of the 2011 new hires will be on the street. Eagle will not win any new flying contracts because we have too many people at the top of the pay scale. Can't compete with RAH and GO JET with your average crew having 12 years experience. |
