You are a troll. Probably some sad individual who lives in his mom's basement, eating oatmeal, and convincing himself that soon he will lose his "baby fat".

Let me leave you with this piece of advice: try some originality. Aviation forum catch phrases like "kool-aid" and "shiney jet" are old and tired. While you accuse everyone else of drinking "kool-aid" you fail to notice that in fact YOU are the one guzzling it down.

Just like those "alternative" kids in high-school who dressed in all black because they considered themselves to be "different" but failed to realize they were just like all the other goth/alternative kids..listened to the same music and wore the same clothes. They traded one type of originality for another.

But, alas like I said before you are simply a troll. You don't work for Eagle, and I'm certain you have never transported one passenger in a 121 environment...I would be shocked if you have ever even piloted an aircraft that did not require hooking up a joystick to your computer.

Moving on....

Not even going to go down this road. Maybe one day you might get a chance to fly your avatar. Won't be for Eagle, but maybe that app might get you picked up somewhere else that has that "shin(e)y", or as educated people spell it "shiny", jet. You're the one that said there's no one out there that could or can replace Eagle's jet flying. That's the invincible kool-aid I'm talking about. You might want to check yourself back into reality.

There is no road to go down. You have no clue, no argument, and no ambition beyond getting to the liquor store before it closes. Your only goal is to log on to aviation forums, probably in your underwear, and spout nonsense.

I think it is hilarious you spin my avatar into a negative. Here is a newsflash: I'm a pilot. Guess what? I love airplanes. No, that does not somehow make me "un-cool" as the FBO crowd would have you believe.

Some people like 747s, others the A380. Me? I love EMBRAER aircraft. Simple enough for you? From a pilot's perspective would I like to fly an E-jet? Absolutely. Would I for the current wages/QOL? Nope.

I never applied for Republic or anywhere else that flies them. The only company I applied to was Eagle, and they were the only place I was willing to work for. The reasons are my own but they don't include flying the ERJ if that is what you are wondering.

From my position within the company and ALPA I am very aware of circumstances happening within Eagle and the industry. Suffice it to say, there is nobody who could replace Eagle's current feed to AA on the jet side. Period. Our turbo-prop flying is replaceable, although like I mentioned before I was never able to find out by who before the BK happened.

Maybe, since flying and aviation is so "un-cool" from your point of view you could move on to that awesome job at Gamestop. Or achieve your dream of becoming a call-center manager.

Do you have any idea how many 50 seaters are parked out in the desert? Heck they could even fly our airplanes for us. It's not going to happen overnight but in 12 months time most of us could be gone. Take a look at Comair if you want to see the potential future at Eagle. We are now just a staffing company. The house always wins and there is always someone willing to do it for less.

Problem is that no one has the STAFFING to take the flying from us. You are right, they could fly our planes, but no one has the pilots (right now) to take it all from us.

You guys need to educate yourself. MESA has 350+ on furlough (not saying all would come back) and ASA side is about to furlough. Would it take some time to get up and running? Yeah, I'm not saying it's an overnight fix, but there's enough to get started. Trust me, if there's an opportunity for more flying Eagle might be the last one in line.

It's official. DFW ATRs are gone on Jan. 31. Frequency will be reduced in some EMJ markets to cover the DFW ATR flying.
