EL is full of some of the most childish pilots in the industry. There are about 10 prominent members who only allow people in their clubhouse if you follow everything they say. EL makes me embarrassed to fly for Eagle. Rumors, catfights and new-hire bashing is all that goes on there. Great motivation and learning tool as to know how not to act and talk as a senior pilot.

I just keep seeing you guys fighting for Eagle and AA if they where the last company in the world. AA sucks, eagle sucks, regional sucks.

I just want to get out of this hole ASAP. Why? Because morale is very low, and all the people do is bash the problem to the other group. I'm usually a happy person, but all this **** is getting in my nerves.

I'm just tired of read 555 pages about the same stuff. It was more fun when everyone was asking questions about training, interviews, etc. Even talking about the stupid divestiture.

Can we just calm down and try to solve the stupid problem AMR is getting us?? Can't you guys see that this is what they want?? They want to **** the pilots so they can get what they want.... CHEAP FLYING and a lot of management BONUS!!!!!!!

Let's stay strong, even if is one list for both companies. Even if is means eagle get stapple at the end of the AA list, or DOH or getting scope relief so at least current AA pilots and young people like me (and yes, I'm young 25yrs only), starting in this ****ty company can stay with a job. I do have 550 guys below me after the next furlough, but is sad seeing people lose a job because management, AA and AE can't get their **** together.
All this has been going on for years. When you're new to it, it can be more frustrating. Brace yourself, because it's likely to get much worse.

YMMV.
The moderating is a joke. He selectively chooses which posts he will allow and not allow. Basically, if you're his buddy you can say WHATEVER you want, if not, you'll get banned/suspended/warned. That's a simple fact. I gave up on that site long ago.

Just curious, what were you basing those plans on.........AMR or ALPA promises ?

AA is likely to be much smaller 5 years from now and depending on where the future RJ's go, captaincy may be questionable. In a week you should get your term sheet and if you're willing to work cheaper then everyone else, you'll have a better chance of upgrade faster.

Agreed. Although I was never suspended or banned, those who were IMO were because if personal standards/beliefs of the moderator and not neutral, uniformly applied forum rules. Classic moder-jacking situation, if you asked me. Paying for that was absurd.

Ya its OK, but I am sure I will soon be displaced. I am glad you have the ability to either remember or look up my past posts.

Where do you enjoy?

Also, just because I work with someone does not mean they are my buddy. Furthermore, I clearly do not fly with the person, so I am not sure how I would know them.

I try to enjoy anywhere I am at any given time, including this forum and all my friends.

I simply assumed that since you chose to rebut me and pass up all the quality comments by a fellow Eagle pilot, he was your pal and I must be the bad guy, that's all.

You both make me LOL. Only difference is he does not call me a high fiver, and generalize all us Eagle guys.

BK sucks, it sucks for us at Eagle and it sucks for you guys as AA. Hopefully in the end something is worked out that prevents furloughs at both companies. Be happy your in BK under a democratic president, and an arguably improving economy.

I saw BK at UA via my Dad during late HS and while in College. Its awful to go through, its when he grew his bold spot and grey hairs. He was convinced they would going CH7. It was like a recurring nightmare after being at EAL.

At eagle right now we are at least lucky the FAA passed rest rules that will require more pilots. They also passed the 1500 hour rule. Also there seems to be an ongoing hiring binge, and the only new applicants are those who are tainted, or are just coming out of the CFI job pipeline. These applicants are not filling all the regional job openings anymore.

I saw someone post something about the new rest rules require 4000 new pilots, I hope that is true. I also hope that if we get more 70 seat jets at AE, that we can just merge the list, because they will be replacing MD80 flying IMO, and I would hope no one has to furlough, either AA or AE. I do not think any 90 seat jets are coming to Eagle, it seems to me that APA will not back down on them, and I do not think a judge is going to impose that. I have also heard a 'rumor' that if it goes to the judge, that he can not actually impose scope language. I doubt they will put 90 seat jets at AA either, because it cost too much to have all other aspects of that flights operations handled by AA. Its why I do not understand the logic of not merging the two groups, but I am just a kid right?
