My bet is that the TA will be Mesaba's current contract. there is no way anyone would except less than that. Management has to know that, I think they are being difficult so we don't over reach that contract. I would expect a TA soon.

And the 9E guys have a list of items they would need to vote yes on.

Scheduling loves to say we complain about everything...I'm thinking Papa Mike is either scheduling, or Mike G???
Speaking of which, anyone else hear the rumor S.L. might be forced outta management and put back on the line?
If you want to restore pilot morale, all you have to do is get rid of S.L. and Barney...
No coincidence that performance went way down the tubes when S.L. came in and floated that b.s. attendance policy, and had the audacity to blame the pilots for the poor performance, without admitting they were grossly understaffed and had held off on hiring until the announcement of the XJ merger....

Now, if they said "8 weeks vacation" and did away with the slide, I'd vote yes, because that's the only way I'd keep my current "4 weeks + slide=8ish weeks"

What I'm seeing from some of the 9E guys on here is that this JCBA process is taking away from THEIR contract negotiating progress.
THEY cannot be released from the NMB while this travesty is going on.
THEY have been at this same old for 6 years.
Well, this is something new, and the best hope for 9E is that this JCBA happens.
Imagine if it doesn't and in 8 months they start moving airplanes, 9E gains about 60 jets AND 600 very senior XJ pilots with 5 year guys sitting at seniority number 500.
Without being able to bid where the turboprops are, how long do you think it's going to take to upgrade at the new 9E?
And how much longer until 50 seaters start going away?
This hasn't been 6 years, it's been since sept 1rst that this has been going on, and I would think real hard how important it is for the JCBA to happen NOT just a contract for 9E.

No offense Sir, but you are new to this. You (Colgan) are new to the Union concept. A Union in our sense (airlines), is a group of elected pilots working FOR the pilot GROUP. Every single person who has voiced their opinion on this website is in some way justified. Granted, some of things they say may be rude, attacking, or flaming, but all the same justified. Our Union has been telling US for years that progress is being made. Six years later progress is "still being made." The pilots at 9E have every single right to be upset and frustrated and maybe more guys should step up and do more about it. We are accused of being all talk, I get that, but all the other pilot groups need to back off. You at Colgan should be showering both Pinnacle and Mesaba with support because to be honest you guys have the absolute most to gain from this. None of your posts show any support, none. I don't know your Union guys, they may be awesome! But our guys haven't proven anything to us and that is our business. If we want to vent on a silly discussion board then so be it. We don't come into your crew room and "complain" so back off. What Continental and United are doing has NOTHING to do with what Pinnacle Corp. is doing. Its not even in the same league. They have their issues and we have ours and right now our guys are getting fed up to no end. Have you been in a 9E crew room or cockpit? Morale is shot, whats left of the morale is to simply keep on trucking to put food on the table. To find out you are from Colgan and the things you are saying shows that you have no intention of backing anyone. You just want to sit and accuse having never been there. Must be easy sitting back and bashing your "brothers."
