Alright Mesaba, looks like its your turn to join the "Saab sideways in the ditch" club and make a full Pinnacle tri-fecta.

Manassas Colgan Ford... selling simply the best Fords.

Mesaba didnt used to run a used car lot in Manassas VA and then move people from used car lot salesmen to being in the safety dept of an airline. Im hoping that Mesaba people clean up both of these crappy airlines.

Maybe time to think about that...

Wrong! Every place I've worked at , your required to be a certificated mechanic and pass the training and be signed off by a designated/qualified trainer to Taxi. It is funny how quick everyone is to throw the mechanics under the bus and act like pilots never make mistakes. You don't even know what happened. Scheiß happens sometimes.

This photo is a good start. Put all the express planes in a ditch and light a match!

I was refering to PILOT licences and training. Plus, what does being a "certificated mechanic" have to do with being able to taxi an airplane? Is Saab 340 taxiing a course that is required for an A&P? What other skill sets come with being a "certificated mechanic?" Of course pilots make mistakes as well but there is a reason why most planes are pulled with a tug.

And yes, I do know what happened.

Put it in your contract, get the flying back, negotiate a pay scale for a 34 pax TP (has there been one at a mainline since 1980?), and you will have your wish. I just hope any of your buddies whose resume you forward are willing to start on a puddle jumper.

(and strictly speaking, I believe it is "Connection" not express)

So the United Express painted on the side of this and too many other airplanes is a mirage? Never realized Express actually read as Connection. Thanks for the heads up!
