MSP:

Overall there is a potential for 610 (340 pilots) displacements at SKW. Look at the standing bids and you can tell that 90+% of the pilots who have IAH or MSP in the bid don’t have either one as their #1 but 3rd or 4th down the list.
No you are wrong, did you read the e-mail that was sent out? They said the staffing will be adjusted.

Yes I did but you only referred to the initial bid of one list, CA or FO. The numbers I used are the numbers based upon what the email state (the big picture). It did have a disclaimed stating the exact numbers of a/c and crews have yet to be determined, but it does then refer to the anticipated staffing levels per domicile. To begin it shows 70-120 (CA+FO) headed to IAH and then goes on to state it anticipates 200 overall. With MSP showing 70-120 (CA+FO) with anticipations of 140 overall.

Simple put, you were wrong.

Where are you guys getting your info that this is UAL flying? Its CAL flying originating in Houston and in direct violation of our scope clause. UAL never had any IAH originating flights and the destinations your serving FROM IAH should be flown by mainline unless its 50 seats or less.

I can guaranty that you won't be sitting on many CAL jumpseats to get to and from work and if I were you, I'd ask management to rethink this? That is unless you like purposely violating other carriers contracts.

Good Luck !!

That's between you, your management, and the lawyers. If its found to be a violation of the contract then we won't be flying out of IAH with 700s. Punish your management and not your fellow pilots.

Guys like you just like to run your mouths. How is it the fault of the skywest pilots if your contract may or may not be followed?

Does UA/CO have single carrier status? No. This is UA flying until then. No "violation" can exist at a carrier SkyW doesn't fly for. UA has been flying 700's in and out of Huston for years.

BTW... no one at SkyW wants any of this flying.

Respectfully we all realize that UAL doesn't have any originating flights in IAH and that this is most definitely CAL routes. We also understand that it’s in violation of your scope but preventing it us up to you guys and you guys alone, we cannot refuse to fly anything other than struck work without recourse. Remember that we want no part of this but we are forced into whatever you allow.

The buck stops with you! Figure out how your management team plans to work around your scope and STOP IT!!!! 99% of us need you to preserve our mainline jobs because, other than you guys (CAL pilots), most mainline pilots haven’t done a good job persevering anything. I hope after the JCBA you can bring it all back in-house!

Jeezus guys, whats next, are you going to ask me what the definition of "is" is?

This is CAL flying PERIOD. You are violating our scope provision by participating in this flying. For those of you contractually challenged this is a big no-no in the airline world.

So if I'm getting this right, you would purposely violate another carriers contract and just shrug your shoulder and say "oh well"????

Unfortunately for you guys, you're going to need rides on us a lot more than we need them on you and you ain't gonna be welcome on a good many CAL Captains Jumpseats.

Again, Good Luck with that and maybe one-day you'll undertstand what an enforceable contract is.

B f'ing S. I know you used to fly between a UAL hub and Houston and that was it. Get your facts straight and try and show me how many flights you flew from IAH to a non UAL hub using 70 seat aircraft.

Then enforce your contract and put an end to it. Again the buck stops with you!
