From the Colgan guys that have responded to my post about the CRJ... it's been quite enlightening. Apparently no one from Colgan wants to come to the jet side!!
You can have your Relative Percentile integration... but I want a 7 year fence between jets and props in return.
That way, you guys keep your bidding power on your own equipment... and since none of you want to come over to the CRJs (cause they're old and smelly), then you shouldn't have a problem with a long-term fencing solution.
You guys want the CRJs. You cannot deny it. Otherwise, all this talk of relative intergration and getting screwed will never apply: As there will be no one from Pinnacle who wants to come to that side of the yard anyway.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Nope I dont!!!

We enjoy the smells on our own old aircraft. It has taken us many years and many summers filling those cockpits with our essence. The Q's are a work in progress, but have many more cycles before they reach that particular olfactory maturity.

Keep the jets. They're not as special as you seem to think they are. I'd rather have an SLI that integrates everybody from all three certificates as fairly as possible, without sacrificing anyone's seniority, upward mobility or quality of life as much as possible and stay on one of our lowly turboprops than have access to your precious jet and be stapled.
I still hope that this mess gets put behind us and we can find a way to move forward as one group. Unity will be all we have, regardless of the outcome.

I agree. It's not decent, it's excellent. Well done to the three pilot groups.
Bloch actually has a history of weighing DOH more heavily than other arbitrators in SLI cases. Of course, a lot of those cases were under the old ALPA Merger Policy, which listed DOH as something that should be considered, so it's hard to tell whether he'll still consider it today with Merger Policy no longer listing DOH. The DAL/NWA case can't really be used as an example to indicate his new preferences, since he was only one of three arbitrators, and I'm sure they all had to compromise to reach the final award that all three could get behind.

Read what I wrote. DOH is no longer a primary consideration. Is it possible that DOH may get a nod? Yes. Recent SLI's show a strong precedent toward weighted relativity, though.

Not only are our a/c old and smelly but we get quite dirty with grease, hydraulic fluid and other unidentified stains... thats just the Colgan way.

is anyone actually surprised at any of the proposals? Seriously? It seems to me that as well educated professionals, we could infer that in a negotiation, each group would put forth the argument that would benefit the ones they represent. This shouldn't be "shocking" or elicit outrage. Of course this was each groups proposal. We should be yawning here, not up in arms. Relax folks...we'll be married soon; with children. And we'll all learn how to be one big happy blended family. Until then, ignore the posturing. Releasing the obvious positions only serve to inflame and is/was foolish.

We are a regional, we don't fly 747s. I think you are having delusions of grandeur. The sooner you come to the realization that you work at a Regional airline the better off you will be to face reality.
