It sounds like they already know something though.
You are #500. You will not be 500 on the new list. Other than JH....your number will be higher.

Of course they know something. Almost everyone is going to move down at every airline. If you are #200 at pinnacle you will not be 200 on the new list. You may be 300 or 400. Everyone knows that. That's all they are saying. The point of the email was to remind people not to freak out at their number. Nothing more.

Ok...thanks for the replies...just a little freak out from one of those guys who has made an airline career of being at the wrong place at the wrong time, i.e., furloughs, liquidations, displacements, etc... Looking forward to an equitable solution wherever my seniority falls.

Basically the only thing they are saying is they know for sure that it won't be a staple job of either list below the Pinnacle list. It will be some sort of blending.

Not familiar with the details of the NWA/Delta deal. Airtran merging with Southwest??? Even if Airtran were to get stapled, they're still sitting pretty.

No, you're right...AirTran was WAY better before Southwest came along. Better pay rates, better relationship with management...

They will make their pay back and then some. If Southwest bought Pinnacle tomorrow, I bet you'd **** and moan about seniority though, huh?
