Looked fine to me. Do you think because you meet those qualifications you deserve something better?
I don't, but I also don't think people should be flying even a B1900 at 750 hours.
Not the way it works anymore. You go to what is considered one of the worst payed/QOL airlines and what were you expecting?? "You will get any base you want. If you don't meet our minimums, who cares we will make an exception for you." Im a little confused here.
The email is WAYYY more upfront that I would ever expect them to be.

Like Lakes or not, they are being upfront: "If you don't like no pay during training or living in Farmington, don't waste our time or yours."

If you have a problem with the conditions described in the email, then don't pursue an interview, simple as that. BTW; I too agree with most on this thread. Your suggestion that they are "pricks" is immature. There is nothing in that email to suggest that as they are apparently forthcoming with the working conditions. Remember, this is a free country and they could offer minimum wage, not pay for a hotel during training and make you wear a clown suit as conditions of employment if they wanted. Accepting an offer for an interview is your choice.

I'm amazed they are so straight forward as to how bad they will treat you. Guess that is one good for Great lakes. Anyways, why respond to them if you just put out mass resumes without doing some research, well then thats your fault. Now your bigger problem, you just sent off a nasty gram to a lady who has nothing to do with the contract, all she does is schedule an interview for you. Now lets say 3 years from now you apply to DL or anywhere and you get a response back saying thanks for the app but we are looking elsewhere, and its signed by her, think people in aviation forget names or faces, well if you answered yes then your wrong. But back to to applying to great lakes, WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU WANT TO WORK THERE. That company is misfit island from Santa Claus.

When I was a young whipper snapper and was trying to get a break in this industry, I did so with a little more humility. I am jumping on the band wagon to say poor form on your part. Good luck in the job hunt though, it looks like things are starting to turn around slowly.

Let's see.... this page (Airline Pilot Central - Great Lakes | Regional) states:
New-hires not paid during training
Domiciles ABQ, DEN, FMN, ISN, and MKE. Logic suggest that since two are places in BFE, it makes since they are junior.
"It is highly likely that you will be placed initially at one of these bases. Please reply and let us know if you are not interested in either one of these locations."
Hmm, as I read that, if you weren't interested in those two locations and you called, there might have been a chance you could have gotten one of the other bases in a future class if you had been honest and polite. Alas, now you will never know.
They seemed to be pretty honest and appeared to be trying to avoid wasting your time and money. Honestly, you might want to come off your high horse and grow up. That sort of fly-off-the-handle attitude has no place in a cockpit.
