Pinnacle (all 3 airlines combined) currently has a market capitalization of $88 million. Oops there goes your argument. Don't worry, I'm sure it wont take you long to think up another one.

I'm not the one that thought 62 million for a "high performing profitable" airline was a great sticker price (For PNCL is was). Especially having that many 900's....or how soon we forget that the transaction was a dump and run on Deltas parts. Remember Compass was part of this transaction....same day even. No sir...I am not diluted....I am firmly suited in the reality of the situation and I don't go making up false statements to make myself feel better as a child would do. I've been around that block once too many times and I have learned from my mistakes....have you?

Delta forced pinnacle to buy Mesaba? that's some funny stuff right there. Did they force us to buy Colgan too? What's really funny.....you Mesaba guys complained that this was a great deal for Pinnacle because they practically gave you away. Would they have GIVEN you away to Pinnacle with a great interest rate had they been wanting to FORCE pinnacle to buy you? No, the price would have been jacked up. You have all the facts don't you? Probably sat next to Anderson when he signed the papers....

I guess that one is my fault, I never should have assumed people on this thread would know what a market cap was.

Why would Delta encourage Pinnacle to buy Colgan? If anything they probably discourged it since they like to have all their regionals completly under their thumb. Don't forget, selling Mesaba to pinnacle was to their advantage. They have a cheap contract for many years to come.

gojo I agree, but it was only a rhetorical question asked to wuflingpu based on his superior knowledge of the "forced selling" of Mesaba to Pinnacle...
