Most of my PO'd moments have come from our union decisions, not management. Lets see, turning down pay increases for FOs to gain leverage they never got, tying TA1 bonus to wages earned in the years past, getting (approving) XJ pilots longevity credit, while accepting our management's statement that they cannot afford to adjust our longevity by 2 months from sim date to class date DOH. etc etc etc
We will be voting for new union reps very soon, just make sure you do your research and vote for the ones you feel best represent your interests.

Its impressive that you had the above information posted to this board within 27 minutes of the email that was sent from the PCL merger committee. You must be on XJ's MEC or merger committee yourself. Thank you for your service to the profession.
ALPA does not maintain PCL's or any other carriers seniority list. Its unfortunate that the list provided by management contained errors but that was not the fault of the PCL MEC or Merger Committee. To the best of our knowledge, the errors discovered throughout the certification process had all been rectified. You will not find any PCL pilots apologizing for errors made that were outside of our control.

The sad part is that we have to learn about it from a forum rather than our own union reps. That information is something we apparently weren't supposed to know about, but seems fairly substantial. Email? What email? I haven't received anything in two days. It would be nice to see this email you speak of. I guess there were no communication lessons learned after contract negotiations. If you are no longer our president how are you still privy to this information? I thought you were one of us now, on the line that is.

My guess is that PNCL has been waiting for SLI to put out a Captain vacancy and 9E MEC wants them to do it before SLI so that 9E guys get priority on those upgrades.
By delaying the award they hope to get this accomplished.

Apparently, 9E MEC has requested that Bloch delay his release of the list until mid-June.
My guess is that PNCL has been waiting for SLI to put out a Captain vacancy and 9E MEC wants them to do it before SLI so that 9E guys get priority on those upgrades.
