That makes sense. However it's no longer PTF, depending on which spin you want to put on it. The only catch-all in the opportunity is the fact that pay is only $19 per hour. If it were more, it would be a no brainer for the job offer (pending my interview on Wednesday). Who knows, I have some prepping to do for an interview, and hopefully a job offer to think about...

whipping tears. I turned down my interview w Gia because I had some doubts about paying bills and lifestyle. Turned down 2 days before the interview. A week later my employer bankrupts. It appears we're parking 30-100 EMB135 & ATRs now.

Dont ever burn bridges Mates! I don't have a prayer at GIA now, likely ever. Lots of regrets.

Sorry to hear that. You couldn't make this stuff up....on another note, does anyone know if GIA pays an overtime rate, or is it just work as many hours as possible to get as much money as possible..

19/hr isn't bad considering you have people flying planes more than twice as big for only 5/6 more an hour.

No, it's equally pathetic that they/we make that. There is no reason airline pilots of any size (aircraft size, not person size) should be making 20-something an hour.

Airlines like Gulfstream, Lakes, CommutAir, drag the bar lower for everyone else.
