Besides a few people on this board, I haven't gotten that impression at all. Militant? Most of the guys I've actually meet have been no different that most CRJ guys I fly with, wanting a fair contract. Maybe it's just you?

1. Their MEC is far more militant than our MEC and that is why we still don't have a TA....They are still living in their CAL lucrative cost plus world before reality slapped them upside the head.

2. You are one of the "more militant" folks on this side of the fence so it's no wonder you can't see the problem.

3. The industry standard is moving backwards while y'all cry and moan about how bad we have it....Wake up and look around....

Funny to read things about the meeting, ya'll can end the conspiracy theories. I can remember being on the outside before and wondering about these things too. Our respective leadership will be sending an update out shortly.

It was good to meet everyone across all 3 groups and solidify the fact that we're all in this together and working together is the only way to move forward. Good stuff.

That may be true about their MEC, but That is NOT the reason we don't have a TA. The company intentionally slowed things down to see what happens when the dust settles with Eagle and Pinnacle. Also they are playing the wait and see with United's AIP.

3. So because PNCL and AMR are in bankruptcy and SKYW is making profits we should be taking concessions just to get a contract done for the heck of it?

Reading some of your other quotes on this site, it doesn't appear that you are on the side of the "lifers" at "Inc"....That being said, it's hard to make the point that "we are all in this together"....There are two very divergent sides at the regionals now...and we aren't all "together"....

Kalamazoo....The longer this drags out, the worse the TA is going to be at this point...."Industry standard", whether you like it or not, is the "yardstick" that is used in this business....and that "yardstick" is getting shorter by the day....

I suspect had it just been the ASA side, we would have already had a TA...As long as the XJT side holds out for line bidding, the longer this will drag out...and the lower the bar will be for comparison....

Correct on not planning to be a lifer. History shows that one never knows though. Sure hope not.

Not sure what you mean by not being all in this together? Lifers who will sell themselves out for bigger planes vs. not perhaps? Militant vs. not? Etc...

There were basically 50 of us in the room and I'll guarantee that not all of us will see eye to eye on various items. What I do believe though is that no matter what we believe; we do need to work together to make our collective company and industry better than what we found it.

Consider me an everyone. And I don't agree.

I don't agree with you along with a many people I know that ACTUALLY take the time to get to know the pilots of the other group. Instead of spreading crap you hear coming out of other peoples mouths that have no backbone and are scared sh*^*&(^less of standing up for themselves, put down the koolaid and get to know these people that you THINK you know so well.

You sir are pathetic and I feel for you.

So, how much of our money did you and our other beloved leaders spend to sit around in Denver, hold hands, and sing kumbayah?

"Good stuff..." ??? Sure hope so.

None of it. Go read the TPA when you get done tearing down others.
