oh, and contrary to popular believe, our sister company Republic, is having NO issues staffing those fresh shiny, underwing mounted engines, E175's with 5-6yr Captains and new hire FO's.

Telling the truth is not whining. Do you deny that eagle is shrinking? Do you deny that it is tough to get hired at a legacy? Those are really the only claims I've made.
Delta will follow suit on their wholly owned. The outsource vendors like RAH and MESA will have no such direct pathways to the mainline and will shrink and be the victims of market consolidation.
The fleet plan for eagle is roughly 170 new planes. To be announced once a few more senior folks are scared into transferring to AA

Eagle will shrink 15-18% for a few years. Then grow again. AA will soon take over all pilot hiring and new hires will be assigned to AE. There will be a much more direct pathway from Eagle to AA as well, (think bid through program) These changes alone will cause junior FO's from other regionals to bail and go to Eagle.

Funny...I was told similarly two years ago from one of our management types.
