Yes I have. All I was saying was that there could be ****ed off people and do what some have done to Gojet. Like I said I would NEVER do it. Crazy post yes I know and I should have edited it.

Any captain that would deny a Pinnacle jumpseater over this passing doesn't have the mental stability to be flying an airplane. They'd be doing me a favor by not putting me in a plane piloted by an emotionally unstable misinformed nut job.

Good luck to everyone at Pinnacle. Hope that it will turn out good for you all. If anyone does get furloughed and would still like to stay part 121 at a regional, I would be more than happy to help those that will be affected. I wouldn't put any weight on the jumpseat issue because that would be pretty juvenile. If someone does pull that, I believe you could always bring them to the attention of your jumpseat committee. In any case, best of luck with everything.

The only people that should ever be denied a jumpseat are gojets pilots.

This is kind of ironic, considering there were some vocal 9E guys saying they'd deny GoJet pilots a jumpseat.
Don't start jumpseat wars. I remember doing a flight to MEM one time and we had 2 AA jumpseaters. This was after when the 9E union wanted pilots to limit AA jumpseaters to just 1, regardless of seats open, to reciprocate what AA gives us. AA's policy is management-set, and some airlines are on the unlimited list, others are not. The gate agent will see it, and then act accordingly. It isn't the pilot's fault! At least my CA was cool, and said he'd take both AA pilots. The AA guys were super happy to get home. Of course, this CA could have been a "union-by-the-book" and denied one AA pilot a ride home. But he was cool and didn't believe in that jumpseat war crap. A pilot is trying to get home, then get him home. We've all commuted at some point.

Anyone blaming pinnacle guys/girls for voting yes is an idiot. I can't blame my brothers and sisters trying to buy themselves some time... Sad day yes, but pinnacle mgmt is to blame not line pilots.
As far as my company, SkyWest, is concerned I somehow doubt this will affect us other than slowing down on our hiring over the next 3 months... Say what you will about this company but to think they have not anticipated this move already is naive ..
