Just FYI on the ASA side CAs can't fly as FO.

Every summer we are understaffed because it is cheaper to offer 150% or 200% than upgrade or hire. Every year they say that we got more block hours, more flying, more whatever, than we expected. This is the "new" normal. Get used to it. If they are so short sighted as to see that people are already getting hired allover the place (which they are) we are going to have a hard summer.

LCA's can fly as FO's on the CRJ side. I have seen as many as 11 or 12 on the ATL CRJ FO list.

Any news or rumors? Everyone that I've talked to has said both sides are short staffed.

Has anyone interviewed recently? In January they told me expect classes to start end of March/early April.

Ran into one of the pilot recruitment guys the other day. They are still interviewing, but no classes scheduled at this time (CRJ or ERJ). I guess they are still building up a pool in case classes do start soon. Who knows??
