Eagle Vacancy Bid - Upgrades/New Hires

It was hired in the middle/end of that era. Indeed, our class was 28 and people commented on how big of a class it was. A month or two later, we had 40+ people in a class. Than November 29th happened. Once hiring resumed a year later, we could barely get 10 people.

I bet you we would had people banging the door like they where in 2011.
That's how the best looking regional out there doesn't mean is going to be the best looking tomorrow.
I just hope everything works out for us.

Thats the way it is. If only Horton had gave those RAH planes to Eagle, instead of ****ting on us for concessions $$$, the history would be different.

That is the point I was making earlier. AA can't make any aircraft purchases while still in bankruptcy. Republic offered up their own coin while Xjet already had the crj-200s baking in the desert.
AA's plan for L-Eagle (yes there is one) involves an in-house purchase which can't be done until after bankruptcy.

Nobody gave Repbulic anything. They paid for those aircraft themselves.

Well, we will be out of BK starting monday. They may have a plan for L-Eagle but you know they are not going to give us anything without a few more attempts to squeeze something out of us. What I fear is, they know for the most part Eagle will not accept concessions for airplanes - the last 60 airplane for B-Scale proved that. However, they found they can shot the airplanes to other carriers who are weaker and will accept them.
My suggestion? Vote NO initially to get better language. PBS is coming one way or another. With good language it can actually be better than what we have now.

It will never be "better" than line bidding however you are correct in that we need to vote it down initially. There is no language protecting us in the PBS LOA, we need some trip/duty rigs + min value of a day before we sign off on PBS.

Don't just give in and say, "well it's coming anyway" or "but everyone else has it..."
