That's weird SIU isn't on that list. Hell American flies an MD-80 down to Carbondale once a year full of high schoolers for a career day.

No Purdue, either. IIRC, Eagle directly recruited graduating students from West Lafayette in 2006-2007.

Maybe a 141 deal?

What is the benefit of only offering to people with degrees from those schools? Why not offer it to all candidates? I guess I'll take my 2 non-aviation degrees and go elsewhere...

Pilots doing the same job should be paid equally. It is very dangerous for our profession for pilots to be paid differently depending on what their resume had on it when hired. That opens us up to a very slippery slope.
