Alpa endorsing another concessionary contract in a time of "a supposed pilot SHORTAGE!"
FIRE ALPA!!!!
There is absolutely NO reason the regionals and majors belong being represented by the same ALPA......

Senecall, please redirect your efforts to important RAH stuff. BTW do you guys ever wash your planes? The Airways 170/175s make an old Dash look like a Rolls-Royce. Filthy. Repainting them in AE colors doesn't count either...

Here's what they really gained ( I hope all new pilots looking at PDT pay attention here )
YX current year 1 on EJet. ( this is a 2007 CBA rate). $22.95/hr
Year 4. $36.62/hr
YX rejected TA Rate. $26.00/hr
Year 4. $42.42/hr
PDT (accepted) new jet rate. $24.00/hr
Year 4. $39.10/hr
YX rejected 10 year rate. $49.42/hr
PDT accepted 10 yr rate. $43.28/hr
To be clear PDT accepted a 76 seat jet rate in 2014 that is $1.05/hr more than YX 50 seat jet rate from 2007 year one, and $2.48 more than 2007 50 seat rate year 4. They also locked themselves into a 10 year salary cap that is $6.00/hr less than the rates YX rejected because they were 2011 rates for the size aircraft. No matter what PDT pilots claim, they lowered the bar to get Ejets they may/ may not get, and for Flow they may or may not ever see.
For the new guys, I wouldn't recommend YX with a 7 year old contract so I definitely would think twice about PDT. You are locking into what will become the worst contract available in the next 2-4 years all for a promise of quick upgrade and flow, you may/may not see.

Someone only asked what was gained with this TA and I stated the facts. Am I proud of them, no but they are facts. If you look at ALPAs history their logic has always been get the aircraft on the property they negotiate up. Comparing PDT rates for an unknown aircraft that probably won't even be delivered to YX rates who has had them on property (thanks in part to stealing them from PDT if you want to think of it that way) is not a fair comparison. If you read the rest of my post rather than focusing on what you wanted to hear you would have seen our contract is amendable twice, both in 2018 and 2022. We have a set amount of days (I think something like 90 days to come to a consensus with the company and if we are still at an impasse another 120 days to negotiate with an arbitrator until binding arbitration is made) to better the contract. This TA passing only brings PDT up to marginally industry standard. Could we have done better? I think so but my fellow co-workers feel differently and I support their decision.
Perhaps you should redirect you anger at ALPA. I suggest if you are an ALPA pilot stop paying your dues because they obviously don't have your best interests in mind. They signed off on this to come to PDT?

Can someone post the actual LOA of the agreement?
