Normally I don't care about grammar, I make mistakes all the time. But when you consistently make them or the error makes the sentence incoherent then I might say something, especially if you're an A hole.

PDT as an airline was closing in 2017 due to FAA limitations, not contracts expiring or leases coming up for renewal. We have 37 aircraft in service now and 9 gone by 2017 and more continuing to be parked in 2018. It doesn't make business sense to keep the airline open for 29. Those are facts, not fear.

Oh and someone asked earlier about the contract amendments in 2018 and 2022, all items are fair game. Both the association and the company can negotiate 5 items (that includes rates) and if a decision can not be reached after 120 days we enter 90 days for binding arbitration with an arbitrator.

"Negotiations" allow you to choose not to capitulate to the first offer management tries to shove down your throat, your pilot group could have chosen to join all the others(Expressjet, Envoy, Silver, and Republic) and vote NO! There was still plenty of time before 2017 for your pilot group to come to a much better agreement than the concessionary one that was voted in...

dont forget AAG's clock is running out also.
interesting the RAH news comes out after the PDT vote. RAH has to canabalize another airline to cover the united deal as RAH had to do with the AAG deal. AAG has run out of places to place aircraft, lets not forget all these aircraft being placed at other carriers are place with NO concession required from those pilots up front and none have been asked for after.

How can you take further concessions on the RAH contract? No pay protections, expensive health care, awful work rules.

Maybe we can cap RAH's FO pay at $37 to fly E190s? Isn't RAH the OG of capping FOs? Or no cx pay or zed ticketing benefit? I think RAH can afford these new planes because the pilot group voted no and stayed with their old work rules and pay. Unless people there think BB will come back with an awesome offer in few years now that they have secured bunch of flying. Again the planes goto the lowest bidder with or without the input of the pilot group.

Default Define Insatnity.

It's funny how the entire regional world hates piedmont's decision When Piedmont was rejecting concessions for jets back in early 2000 everyone else was wetting their pants with SJS. Why do you think Piedmont is the only operator without JETs. Now its time for PDT to join the club they think they have SJS! Here's some advice, If your an FO with 350 pilots above you on the seniority list come to piedmont you will move up quick and guarantee flow to AA. Good Luck. Once the first domino fall's (PSA)the domino effect occur.

The last act has not played out in the Envoy drama yet...There is still almost 2.5 years before the first 175 theoretically shows up at EN. Don't be surprised to see Envoy and AAG going back to the table and this time a deal WILL be crafted that the pilots WILL sign this time. The caveat, is this deal will be cheaper than the one the pilots rejected twice previously. AAG does not want to retain the ERJ-140/145 fleet, and I maintain they still want the remaining E-175s, plus any options on Envoys certificate. Isn't it obvious to those of you that can stop playing internet games that AAG wants TWO fleet-types and TWO certificates...ONLY. The end result is a streamlined, consolidated operation with cheaper labor. I have seen this "movie" before at "Pinnacolaba" where DAL very, very shrewdly manipulated our pilot groups into a "wham-bam" contract negotiation ( FIVE years PNCL Corp. had the pilots twisting in the wind with an amenable contract, and inside 6 weeks we had a TA with an integrated seniority list and a no-holds-barred open bidding process that created a ridiculous training bubble that cost MILLIONS ). The resulting bankruptcy through a debtor in possession process gave Delta equity, control and cheap lift with 81 CRJ-900s and got rid of the Colgan certificate to boot.
So, all of you at Envoy that are firing broadsides at STW on FB and other forums need to stop, think and re-evaluate exactly what the airline's strategic business goals are and how they will work to reach these goals.
