So I was informed the other day that there are approx. 1050ish pilots on the AWAC seniority roster - that was including management etc.
Why are they hiring so many people (they seem overstaffed) for 71 airplanes?
Could someone enlighten me?

This has been gone over 500 times. There are not 1050 pilots on the seniority list. The master list is only updated twice per year. So it still includes all the new hire washouts and people who have moved on.

I was right about Delta flying at the time of my posts about Delta, only reporting supportable evidence that Delta work was coming to Air Wisconsin. No one except the top people knew it was an AIP...so I was just as wary when I saw the announcement.
I still stand by my quote at the top. Just because AWAC doesn't have the Delta contract does not change the amount of lift needed to fly routes in our current hub and spoke system.
You are either a troll from another airline hoping we fail or you are a current employee that loves to be negative. If you end up being right I hope your negative waves can buy bread.
