Anything New At AWAC?
#131
It's going to be simple. AWAC will use the extension. AAG needs the immediate lift right now since PDT is only starting up it's 145 operation and PSA is still getting more CRJ 900's. Envoy starts it 's 175's soon also. AAG will then do the number crunching and go from there. Remember if the AAG pilots pass this TA it means many more 190's will be hitting the pavements. Honestly I don't see AAG signing a long term deal. Good news is the majors will be hiring and everyone will have a job.

The seniority list is extremely odd and really frustrating me. The official list (as of Jan 9 this year) shows 793. FLICA shows me at 567 out of 831. The freaking PIFS showing you new hires are in the 1,000s. I really cant imagine there are 200+ management pilots here.
I have been here 1.5 years. I was 733/733 as a newhire when I bid for my first base. There is no way they have only hired 60 some people in that time. I get the horrendous (and embarrassing) washout rate here, but that still doesn't add up in the slightest. What do I know though.[/QUOTE]
That's quite easy to explain. Every new hire gets a number but they only update the list every so often. Quarterly I think. When they update the list a new hire will see their number jump 30, 40 or 50 numbers and think they moved up but they are just getting a more accurate seniority number. New numbers are handed out every two to four weeks so they can go well over a thousand with only around 800 or so pilots

The end of 2017 is an eternity from now in this business. To try and predict with any degree of accuracy what the landscape will be like then or what will take place between now and then is insane.

This is more of the type of post I was alluding to, someone who thinks they have it all figured out.

Of course all we can do is predict. I never said I had it figured out. Nobody knows but we can speculate can't we??

Got a life! Good life! And it doesn't involve your pornhub. When did you control what is said on APC??? How would you like for me to jump into your world and kick penis's out of your mouth??? Wouldn't that upset you? So don't worry about me..... I'm fine.
