The same should be said of those airlines offering $30,000 bonuses, there is a reason that price tag is so high, its because you are committing career suicide as there is zero chance for an upgrade in this decade.

Ok, and I'll bite about not getting what you were told, if thats the case be prepared to return the money and make restitution.

Bottom line, don't go to Republic, that would be a dumb thing to do.

So it's ok for the company to lie, waste my time, cause family tension due to QOL issues and delay my career but I should "return the money and make restitution"!?!?

Ha. Get off your high horse.

Yes exactly. Just because your company is a bunch of a-holes doesn't mean you stoop to their level, you handle it like a professional pilot not a whiny little b*tch. Plenty of other places to fly airplanes professionally. This whole generation of millennials think they are somehow entitled to something when they are not. Somehow if they don't make Captain in six months they're ready to burn the place down. Please enough already.

Here's a hint, you can find another job at anytime. Somehow everyone is under this mass impression of how things are "supposed to be" and get real upset when they find out it just isn't true. That's called disillusionment.

Basically do your research before you go to a regional. Look at there working contract or work rules, QOL, Pay, Upgrade time, Vacation and Insurance. If you take that total package into consideration you'll see there might be only 2-3 regionals worth going to.

I agree with the statement about returning due to a signed contract...it's pretty cut and dry and when I spoke to a few lawyers they say if they want to enforce it they can and Judge would uphold it.

As for the millennial thing...I'm not entitled to anything, we are just less likely to put up with the B*llSh*t that we saw are parents put up with because of the type of economy we grew up in. Companies now have to find reasons for us to stay because we have some more of options as of lately.

F that place. They wonder why people leave. It blows, that's why. Rah does an employee survey and they find out that moral is horrible. Rah decides to try to lift moral with cost neutral programs. Nothing but bs. So when moral continues to blow, the upper crust mgt decides to fire the D.O. JD. Had to blame someone instead of Bedford looking in the mirror and realizing it is his mgt's fault it has gotten this bad.
This company will lie and cheat to get meat in the seat. That is all they care about. The main issue is still not having a livable contract.

Rumor has it the results were the worst the auditing company had ever recorded.

I'm sure it was bad, but I don't think they released the actual results. I believe only a select number of employees saw the results.

You guys need to understand that before Republic was Republic, they were Chautauqua, all the way back to the 70s. They've been a sh*t hole since then, you guys think you are experiencing something new. please, you are just the latest suckers learning about disillusionment. They've been f*cking over people since before you were born. Your arguments are pointless. Just get out. Upgrade time should be your top concern.
