Meanwhile they are buying vacation back, offering override pay during section 6 negotiations. That is flat out violation of RLA.

Go fly the line, be happy and let the NC do its work. You are serving the purpose of the company with these posts.

Ps : I have been here 7 years. In two years you haven't seen ****.
Geez, are you gonna be waiting for him in the parking lot too? What he is saying is in the minds of many of us. Doesn't mean we are company tools; just like to know EVERYBODY is playing honest. It's not a far-fetched idea that the last NC was milking the pilot group for cush skeds, money, etc.
Not saying this group is, but corruption is an epidemic that rears its ugly head when the gravy train comes steaming into town.
Seattle, you need a chill pill or you're gonna detriment your health with all your angst.

Tool of the company? Your brainwashed with the negotiations dude, you're the reason why we'll go another 1,2 or 3 years without a new TA to vote on.

Considering we haven't had a new contract in 7 years, I really can't figure out what sh*t you've seen that I haven't, you've just been sitting in it longer. But ill give you that one! Lets keep waiting and waiting and waiting, so we will all be capped at $34/hr! I sure the NC and company will agree on something within the next half decade.

I know your ****ed, but open your eyes dude and stop being so narrow minded. Unless by some miracle United or American dumps a bunch of money into us (Delta with Endeavor), if Bedford DOES come around to sign that dotted line, how long do you think that will last?

Bedford can make us the highest paid pilots in the world. If that comes with scope concessions, Bedford can go fly a kite. That one section makes everything else completely worthless, and its all i need to know.

Commutair, Skywest, Delta, PSA, Endeavor all sign contracts no problem, hell Commuter starts negotiations for a new one this fall, but NOOO not Republic..why is that?? Is our NC continuously asking for more then the company can legitimately provide??
The CA pay rates are concessionary. They don't even cover the increase in inflation for the years we have been negotiating. Also, most other regionals have been signing concessionary contracts while their companies have been ADDING AIRPLANES. Not exactly what we should be shooting for. RAH operates on margins that are 2x what our closest competitor (Spirit I believe) has. Why the hell can't they afford it? Of course they can. They are just brainwashing you to thinking they can't. Looks like it's working...

As someone already pointed out, you only post in threads related to RAH. You're not at United, your still here sucking your thumb, crying about the teamsters and thinking you could do better. You're a sad individual regardless of where you are. Because if you're still at RAH, pretending to be at United... beyond lame. And if somehow you are actually at United, you spend your days trolling around in the regional boards. That says it all, you're a joke, end of discussion.

I tried to book a flight on Republic today. www.Rjet.com -> Flying With Us -> Reservations.
Reservations/Flight Check-In

Republic Airways does not perform any reservation or ticketing functions. Instead, these are provided by our partners. To book, check-in, reserve seats or look at flight status, please visit one of our partner’s websites below. By viewing our Destinations page, you can see our route maps that show you which of our partners serves a specific city to which we fly.

Spirit in no way is a competitor to Republic. You're just hired help.

I'm pretty sure he was talking about margins not competition for passengers. Yes, I know we don't "compete" on margins. But since you chose to be pedantic...Check here for your competition http://www.taxibd.com (yes it's a Bangladeshi taxi service). Or maybe https://www.greyhound.com/express/WhereWeGo.aspx . Do either of those look like booking sites?

Right, we are a regional, operating aircraft, making more profit (read: higher margins) than any major airline. We have greater margins than ANY OTHER AIRLINE. Please explain to me again how they can't afford a better paying pilot contract. Give me a break.

Spirit on the other hand operates on super thin margins, and their management could argue they really couldn't afford to pay their pilots more. That is NOT the case here.

Since 2007 BB'S compensation increased by 17% . If my NC not asking for a penalty for the company to drag these negotiations this long, they are not deserving my support.

Remember, If you are ready to sign at the dotted line this next contract will be your next for next 10 years. Oh, you say that won't be the case? Tell that to the people who left mesa, transtates, Eagle in 2007 for quick upgrades in rah.

do you seriously think $1bil. was accurate enough? In that case i have a beach property for sale in Sahara for you
