I don't think the IBT will go without a fight. Also they have several teamster boot lickers! Im told in-house would be costly, but I can't believe it would be much more then IBT dues. I'm going to make a prediction that RAH will not get a TA this year! If I'm wrong please save this post and be a tough guy! Best to leave and not wait for a fairytale!

They can fight all they want but I think 51% is what it takes. I guess the question is whether teamsters are a good value for the dollar.

They don't give anywhere near the support of the other union. I have been members of both and teamsters sucks.

Agreed. I think the IBT will be in trouble if Local 357 gets put on ice again by the NMB. I Think most of the FOs would vote for a change, but I'm not sure about the top 200.

The top 200 have probably forgotten there is a union.

Since leaving IBT, I have been reminded several times to call ALPA for help with certain things. To my surprise every time, I get the help I need. Whether it be a question about scheduling, pay, or medical, I speak with someone who can help. Many people who have been with ALPA complain about ALPA, but they have never been a teamster.

Im not a teamsters fan by any stretch, but alpa and their never ending support of regional concessions are not the answer.

I don't work for BB anymore, but I agree with your comment. LOL of course IBT is a mess. Remember GS?

What articles are they still negotiating? Still no chance of a new vote for the pilot group?

They still have quite a few open articles. Unless the company backs off its final proposal, there will be no vote, period. They want a contract, but at a predetermined and unrealistic cost. Still trying to be "cheap".
