Republic Hiring Again?
I am starting to see Republic's ad on APC again offering a $17,500 bonus. Find that interesting considering the training backlog. Could that be a tell that positive things are ahead for you guys or perhaps they are just burning up the balance on an advertising contract?

I don’t think they’ll pull the ads, they have money to burn so just keep them running. We are still doing interviews 5 days in March so hiring hasn’t stoppped completely, it’s just that anyone accepting a job offer will have a bit of a wait.

Classes are full for 2019, but they expect some no shows due to long wait time. Depending on what happens over the next few months, we could hire more in 2019. If your interested in Republic, then apply. They will be in contact if hiring picks up. Also I doubt the bonus stays that high, because we are seriously over staffed right now.

It's my understanding that all classes are full through Dec. 2019. So figure 10-11 months from job offer to class. Of course, things can change quickly and spots will open up in classes occasionally. Hard to say exactly what would happen.

It is pretty crazy how different the situation is depending on the airline; Republic has classes full through 2018, I’ve heard from some buddies Horizon is full until 2019 (unless you want the Dash 8), meanwhile ExpressJet is advertising they can get you in a February class!!!

Last Jan/Feb Endeavor was saying they are full until October-ish.
In June the floodgates opened again, because no-one waits for a class date for that long if they are ready to start.
So they will have a ton of no-shows. I'd guess they will start interviewing again in the summer.
