Well. Guess what?! You thought incorrectly.

(Oh if you don't meet ATP mins, u just get an SIC type also. The only ones that get a full type are the ones going for their (initial) ATP (in a plane/sim they have never flown other than 8 lessons in a sim....good luck!)

You have to fly at ATP standards on an SIC ride anyhow. A few extra maneuvers and extra things on the oral makes it more challenging but far from impossible...

So correct me if I'm wrong, but everything I have read on the new rule states you need an ATP and a type for 121 SIC's. To me this means if you would need a type ride on your initial if you only have an ATP. Would be kinda stupid for the regionals to only type those receiving an ATP...

Neither YX or S5 are OPS SPEC approved for circling in <VMC. This is why you get a circle restriction.

Is Republic hiring to all certificates? If I got RPA how long would it take to get to DEN?
Got an interview invite from them to add to my collection (Eagle and SkyWest). Thinking of taking my FAA controller retirement and returning to flying. Am I nuts?
